Construction of the new Dubai Metro

The new Dubai Metro is a key investment in the city’s sustainable transport infrastructure. BASF has developed a special adhesive to join the precast concrete elements forming the track.
Concrete for skyscrapers such as the Burj Dubai is made stronger and more durable by Glenium® concrete additives. The building can be utilized longer and thus becomes more sustainable.
The façade of the East Hotel is covered with Senergy® Exterior Insulating and Finishing Systems (EIFS). They reduce the amount of energy used to cool the luxury hotel by 50 percent.
