WABO® absorbs all types of structural movements, ensures the required flexibility and thus safety and durability. Thus it serves a wide array of applications: thermal and seismic movement requirements, high impact and load carrying conditions, water tightness, life safety, fireproofing, and rehabilitation of existing joints. The WABO® expansion control system can be used on bridges, elevated highways, buildings and open air structures, such as parking garages.
With the San Jose International Airport parking project, the WBA had an excellent opportunity to utilize the WABO® expansion control system, giving each parking deck the necessary flexibility as well as safety from thermal and seismic activities.
