Flooring solutions
Whether for schools, operating rooms, car parks or stadiums – our diverse range of flooring solutions meets all the requirements. Conica® sports floors and line markings are environmentally safe and resistant to wear and tear as well as ageing. Our Mastertop® product range offers epoxy and polyurethane-based flooring systems for decorative or industrial uses, whereas Ucrete® polyurethane floors are the right choice when hygienic demands and chemical, thermal or mechanical loads are high.
Wall Systems
With our HECK® and Senergy® brands, we offer exterior insulation finishing systems (EIFS) that provide walls with insulation, a finished surface, and waterproofing in one integrated system. These multilayered panels help to warm and cool buildings with low energy consumption while also protecting against fire. Moreover, our products cover the entire renovation process from the drying out of brickwork through the restoration of ornaments to loam renderings and paints. Water-repellent and breathable coatings preserve the beauty of buildings for years to come.
Expansion joints
Sidewalks, bridges, railway tracks and piping systems need expansion joints that absorb expansion and contraction. Forming part of BASF’s Construction Chemicals division, Watson Bowman Acme Corporation creates tailor-made solutions in the field of expansion control: Whether bridges require seismically designed joint systems, whether buildings need expansion joint fire protection or park decks require a watertight expansion joint system – we have the expertise to meet our customers’ project needs.
Wood protection
In order for wood to retain its natural beauty and functionality for many years, an effective protection against weathering and vermin infestation is required. Forming part of BASF’s Construction Chemicals division, Dr. Wolman GmbH offers solutions ranging from material treatment through curative treatment to fire protection. With our vacuum pressure treatment, for instance, the protective agent can penetrate the wood deeply and evenly. But our products and solutions also provide effective protection when being applied by dipping treatment or spraying.
Grouting and anchoring systems
Grouts are versatile construction materials used for structural stabilization and waterproofing. Not only are they applied to walls and tunnels but also to river banks and dams. We offer a complete line of cementitious and polymer-based grouting materials for precision machinery, grouting and anchoring. Besides Masterflow® precision and structural grouts our product range includes injection grouts for waterproofing amongst others. Moreover, we hold specific solutions for all kinds of applications, for instance, when it comes to rail grouting or the grouting of equipment.
Concrete repair and protection
Changing weather conditions and environmental pollution take their toll on buildings. We help to prolong a building’s life span with concrete repair and protection products that can be applied manually or by spraying. Whether it is a balcony or a bridge that needs repairing, we offer integrated solutions for any construction. Our product range includes Emaco® concrete repair mortars, corrosion inhibitors, as well as solutions for structural strengthening, cathodic protection systems and advanced pile encapsulation. Besides, we have developed MASTERSEAL®, a sprayable waterproofing membrane, that can be applied in a sandwich construction between sprayed or cast concrete shells and resists a relatively high water pressure.
Crack repair and injection resins
We offer polymer repair resins, which can be injected into cracks of varying sizes including those too fine to be filled with traditional methods. Our Concresive® brand comprises epoxy based injection resins for structural crack repair and polyurethane injection resins for the control of active water infiltration. We also hold solutions for ductile filling of cracks as well as for situations where load transfer is required.
Joint sealants
Joint sealants are used to seal joints and openings between two or more substrates. Their main purpose is to prevent air, water, and other environmental elements from entering or exiting a structure while permitting limited movement of the substrates. Our joint sealants are silicone, polyurethane-, hybrid- and polysulfide based and suited for a variety of architectural applications, such as windows, roofing terminations as well as water and wastewater treatment facilities. Our product range includes hydro-swelling gaskets, highly resistant sealing tapes for unconventional joints as well as injection hose waterstop systems for cold joints in concrete.
Tiling
Our broad portfolio of tiling system products ensures smooth tiling and perfect adhesion for tiles, flagstones and natural stone products. Our experts know which sealing materials offer the best elasticity and which products stand up best to wear and tear, cleaning, and climatic conditions. Permanent development and innovation make our products even more durable, flexible and economical: We study cement hydration on the nano scale in order to develop formulations that build structures on the nano level. Amongst others, our product range includes PCI Nanofug®, a universal joint grout, PCI Nanolight®, a tile adhesive for all kinds of substrates and ceramic coverings as well as PCI Nanosilent®, a self leveling insulation mortar for impact sound reduction.
Waterproofing
Our waterproofing systems are designed to stop water ingress through surfaces in order to prevent damage to occupied spaces and to equipment located below. Besides waterproofing based on bitumen and cement, we offer polyurethane and polyaspatic based membrane systems for spray and hand application. To protect roofs, our versatile CONIROOF® membrane systems are suitable for all major roof types and designs. In addition, we hold specific solutions for constructions like park decks, bridge decks, reservoirs and secondary containment as well as for basements, below-ground structures and underwater structures.
